This post is super late but here are some pics from my weekend visit to Sado Island in December before I left to go home. The waves were gigantic that day and it was the bumpiest, most terrifying ferry ride I've ever been on. I've never been happier to be back on land and spend time with Will and Sabina. The three of us go by Wabisa collectively. They have been such a great support for me in Japan, I'm lucky to have found such wonderful people to be friends with. We visited the five story pagoda and Futatsu-Game which is a beach with rocks that look like two turtles. Sado is such a beautiful place. I can't wait to go back in the summer when it is warmer and the seas are calmer.

I know I have been horrible at keeping up with my posts this last couple of months. It has been a crazy time filled with decision making and going home, but I have much to tell you.
Posts I am working on:
Going home, decisions about the future.
Weekends in Tokyo, concerts aplenty.
Sumo!
Teaching woes and highs.
Bagel heads and other crazy trends in Tokyo.
and Snow Monkeys in Nagano.

See...I`ve been busy! By the end of the weekend I will have a few up so stay tuned.

Love,

Risa Sensai
